"as a one off cost it may seem expensive for a holiday activity but seriously people $120 for 2 adults 2 kids (my family) for 2 full days of fun and excitement, where else can you do that in rain hail or shine. I do however suggest that you take your own picnic as all food in Hanmer is Expensive due to extra freight costs I guess, also the look on my boys face after going down the Super Bowl was priceless!!"

"Thanks for your comments regarding our current pricing, we always appreciate comment from our customers. Although we understand that a small number of our visitors view a visit to the Thermal Pools as expensive we do wish to make the following points: 1. We completed a $7. 5 million expansion of our complex at the end of 2010, which has resulted in vastly improved facilities. 2. Our pricing is set taking into account our important local market and the cost of other family activities (such as a visit to the movies). 3. It is important as an organisation that we operate a successful business which enables us to reinvest in our future developments. 4. We continually offer excellent special price offers to the local market to provide value to our loyal customers. Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools"

"It seems your pools are expensive for your average family. Can you do something about this? C'mon it's time to make facilities like this available for all. I will visit if you do!"
- Suzy, Australia | 19 December

"We had a lovely day at the pools. I agree the prices are getting to much for familys. I was also disapointed when we were in the lazy river with a 3 year old that the bigger older kids were to rough and were knocking the wee kids off the boards. 1 kid and mum left the pools because of it when the life guards were told nothing was done which is sad cos everyone is there for fun but there fun frighten my son and other kids. Would be unsure if i would go back with kids"
