3 -2 -1 Jump

Get your adrenaline pumping and take a leap over the river canyon in Hanmer Springs.  The jump is situated on the Waiau Ferry Bridge and is a great location for first time bungee jumpers.  

At 35 metres, the bungee jump is the lowest in New Zealand but still gives the rush of the freefall sensation.

Each bungee jumper is prepared to follow strict safety guidelines to ensure a safe experience. 

All bungee jumpers will receive a certificate from their jump and t-shirts and photos are available to capture the adrenaline packed experience.  

Thrills on the water

The Waiau Gorge Canyon offers some spectacular scenery with the deep wall canyons, marble rocks, and alpine surrounds. 

The entry to the base of the canyon is a short five minute drive from the centre of Hanmer Springs.

Jet Boating:
The white water rapids in and the jet spins will have you holding on as you jet down the Waiui Gorge and its stunning scenery. 

Each jet boating experience will give you the rush of the twin V8 engines powering the boats over 30km of the canyons waters.

Wind through the narrow gorges and speed over braided shallows on a jet boat trip in Hanmer Springs.

Rafting:
Explore the Waiau Gorge on a rafting adventure with white water rapids splashing up as you go down the river. 

The rafting trips are great for everyone and let you float in the water to see the rocks, canyon walls, and scenery of the Canyon.
