Tucked away in the beautiful Rogerson Valley you will find the home of the Hanmer Horses. Here we specialize in sending out small groups of riders on our quality horses into the Hanmer Forest, crossing clear mountain streams and offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. We can cater for the first time rider up to those with a great deal of riding experience.
Our 1hr trek is suitable for beginners, children over 5 years and those returning to riding after a break - instruction is given before the ride with further tuition along the way.
The more advanced 2.5hr ride will give the more experienced rider an array of paces on responsive horses.
Pony rides are available for young children - you lead. This is a great introduction to horse riding. Don't forget to bring an apple or carrot for your pony!
