Two day trail ride held over a fun filled weekend, on private farmland in the Waiau district. Its a fundraising event for the Waiau School and has been held over the last 10 years. As this is a successful and popular event with all motorbike enthusiasts. The courses provide an interesting variety of terrain including creeks, river beds and rolling hills and for the more experienced riders there are many enduro deviations. The ride offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Canterbury. Outstanding meals are a feature of this event. This includes breakfast, two lunches and a dinner. As this is a pre-entry trail ride, these meals are only guaranteed for the first 500 riders, so late entries may miss out. Make sure you book in early. Entries open 8 Jan 2010. |
